Culture points determine how many cities you can own in Grepolis. Expansion by colonisation or conquest requires an available city slot as well as the units and prerequisites for that method.
Ways to earn culture
Depending on the game version, the Agora may offer city festivals, Olympic Games, victory processions or theatre plays. These have different costs and requirements: some use resources, some combat points, special buildings or premium currency. Check your own Culture tab for current options.
Plan the next expansion
Do not confuse accumulated points with cultural level. Check how many points remain before committing resources to a colony ship or conquest. Culture can also matter when resetting research.
